Knox College Library Policies and Procedures
In "Patron Services" after scanning a patron's ID you may see blocks and/or notes associated with a patron. Check for any blocks or patron notes that require attention before charging items to patrons.
Blocks show up immediately in a pop-up window. In some cases you may be able to override the block and still check items out to the patron with a block. In other cases only a supervisor can override the block, or the block may not be overrideable. Always contact a supervisor if you have questions about blocks.
