ILLiad Basics

What is ILLiad?

ILLiad is software that allows Knox College faculty, staff, and students to request materials from thousands of libraries in the United States (and around the world). You can use ILLiad to request:

  • Articles
  • Books not available via I-Share
  • Non-print materials (DVDs, videotapes, audio, microfilm)

ILLiad Policies

  • All ILLiad materials must be picked up and returned at the circulation desk in Seymour Library
  • Lending periods and renewals are dictated by the lending library
  • Articles are sent as PDFs and are yours to keep
  • Late fines are $1/day
