Music: Finding Articles

Use this guide to get started researching in Music

Music Databases

Databases are resources that provide citations and abstracts of journal articles and other scholarly materials.

The primary database for music research is RILM. However, you may consider searching other databases depending on your specific topic. If you are dealing with music education, then you may consider searching an education database. If you are exploring the psychology of music, then perhaps also search a psychology database.

For additional databases, see the library's A-Z list of databases or the databases by subject list.
