What is WorldCat?
WorldCat is a resource that brings together the catalogs of more than 10,000 libraries worldwide.
You can use WorldCat to expand your search beyond I-Share libraries.
If you locate a book in WorldCat that's not available at Knox or other I-Share libraries, request it using the ILLiad service.
For more on using ILLiad to request books, see the Books via ILLiad tab.
Like other catalogs, WorldCat provides options for either a Basic or Advanced Search. The default setting is to perform a Basic Search; however, if you're doing research, the Advanced Search is the better option.
